General information

The electronics for this piece consist of a synthesizer part that has not yet been ported in Max.

For the time being, a Max patch is provided to load the piece data into the synthesizer.

Technical requirements for the current version

1. -Macintosh or PC to load the data into the synthesizer
   

2. -Yamaha SY77 or SY99 synthesizer
   

3. -MIDI interface to connect the synthesizer to the computer
   

4. -Mixer & stereo diffusion (plus a return monitor for the keyboardist)
   

Performance notes

The amount of amplification required naturally depends on the performance space, but it should never cover the acoustic sound of the orchestra.
The general level should be rather loud, but not painfully so.
