Robert Schumann's Cello Concerto op. 129

in Anssi Karttunen's new arrangment for Cello (or Violin) and String Quartet

Robert Schumann offered Breitkopf&Härtel to make an arrangement of the

Cello Concerto for cello and String Quartet which would incorporate all the wind parts.

Unfortunately the publisher turned the proposal down and Schumann never realised the arrangement.

Anssi Karttunen has now realised the arrangement allowing the piece to be performed in this chamber version.

As Schumann himself made a version of the Cello Concerto for Violin this String Quartet

arrangement has also been adapted for the Violin. 

The material comes with the Solo Violin part included.

Attention! The String Quartet parts are different in this version

so you need to make sure you have the right parts!
